About Us
About DECO GASFEUER
DECO Gasgeräte GmbH was founded as a family business in Eppingen, Baden, in 1996.
To this day, DECO is the leading provider of individual, open indoor gas fireplaces in Germany.
After a generational change in management in the 2000s, the company moved to Knittlingen in Württemberg and has been led by Guido Schwaetzer ever since.
In 2004 we also gain foodhold in the outdoor sector. Through constant development work and creativity, our new product range “Flammengarten” was created.
In 2017, Flammengarten was founded as a division of DECO Gasgeräte GmbH.

Our innovative gas fires are based on self-developed and TÜV-certified gas fire technology, which means you forget about chopping wood, disposing of ashes and adding more fuel. At the push of a button, safely, cleanly, quickly, effectively and with a convenient remote control, the cozy atmosphere of an open fireplace unfolds into an enchanting flame experience.
Years of perfecting not only make it possible to meet the strictest national and European gas standards and safety regulations, but an AÜE (exhaust gas monitoring unit) was developed specifically for DECO gas appliances, which makes their use absolutely safe even in closed rooms.
Versatility is our plus, whether
- with natural gas or liquid gas
- for new buildings or existing (including historical) fireplaces that are to be converted to a gas fire
- one-sided, two-sided around a corner, as a tunnel with a "view" (a fireplace that lights its fire in several rooms)
